Thought Field Therapy/Voice Technology:
This technique is similar to acupuncture in that it activates the neurological /meridian connections but without needles. Suzanne (Brian’s grandmother) is a Social Worker/ Psychotherapist and teaches a form of Thought Field Therapy for psychological problems to other professionals. However, for physical problems a more advanced form of Thought Field Therapy is usually required. The practitioners listed below have purchased a computer type machine ($100, 000.00) that determines by voice patterns over the phone, (the injured persons voice or a surrogates voice ) what meridians need to be treated (by tapping with fingers on acupuncture spots). We found this more affective than acupuncture and you can do this without leaving your home or hospital room. There is no pain involved.

Prayer

Suzanne’s favorite book of prayers is a book of prayers from around the world. A Grateful Heart: Daily Blessings for the Evening Meal from Buddha to the Beatles. Edited by M.J. Ryan, Conari Press Berkeley, CA

Another good one (by report) is: Everything Starts With Prayer: Mother Theresa’s Meditations on Spiritual Life for People of all Faiths. Theresa, et.al.

Larry Dossey’s books documenting the power of prayer to heal include:
Healing Words: The Power of Prayer and the Practice of Medicine
and

Prayer is Good Medicine: How to Reap the Healing Benefits of Prayer and Space, Time and Medicine.
Prayer is Good Medicine: How to Reap the Healing Benefits of Prayer and Space, Time and Medicine.

For those who believe that those who have passed on can also pray for us, we have sought the intercession of Reverendisima Madre Ma. De Jesus Sacrementado Venegas (Madre Nati) a holy woman born in Jalisco Mexico in 1868. She founded "Daughters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus" and ministered to the poor in a hospital she founded until she died in 1959. She was beatified in 1992 after several miracles were attributed to her intercession. The recoveries associated to her prayerful intercession had to do with traumatic brain injuries. (E-mail if you would like more information on the life of Madre Nati.)
